Apostle Herman L. Murray, Jr.

Apostle Herman Lobias Murray, Jr., is the pastor of the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church Headquarters of Dallas, Texas, and the Presiding Bishop/Overseer of the Full Gospel Holy Temple Churches, Incorporated. He carries a powerful mandate of God in this 21st Century to boldly win souls for Christ. Millions have been captivated by the intensity and passion of his anointed preaching and the authority he has of the Word of God.

Apostle Murray began fulfilling his call into the ministry at the age of 16. From his youth, he became a recognized servant of the Lord and an anointed force whom humbly yielded himself for service. Leading by example, he often placed himself willingly before God as an available vessel and an obedient servant to his leaders.

As a young evangelist serious about the cause of Christ, Apostle Murray founded the Soul Harvest International Evangelistic Association in 2002. This outreach ministry is dedicated to reaching out to lost souls across this nation and showing them the love of Jesus. The next year, he started the FGHT Men’s Retreat, which is a 3-day retreat for the men of Full Gospel to learn how to become better men, husbands and fathers. Apostle Murray is also the founder and instructor of the Ministry Education Class, which allows eager minds to delve deeper into God’s word and plan for our lives.

Recognizing his advancement of God’s agenda, Apostle Murray received an honorary doctorate degree in 2008 and, in 2009, he was ordained a Bishop by his grandfather, the late Dr. Apostle Lobias Murray, founder of FGHT, Inc. Apostle Murray is dedicated to seeing God’s people prosper spiritually, intellectually and financially as evident in his message of salvation, hope and love. Apostle Murray shares the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church Broadcast of Deliverance Monday night’s on the Word Network and Sunday’s on the Promiseland Television Network. He also finds time to travel across the continental U.S. and throughout the international regions, preaching the gospel and counseling to pastors and young ministers in need.

Apostle Murray is a graduate of Lobias Murray Christian Academy, the first fully-accredited, African-American owned private school in Dallas, Texas. Apostle Murray is a native of Dallas, Texas. He is married to Lady Daniele Murray and they are the proud parents of one son.
